Gulrukh Khan

Gulrukh Khan is a highly experienced International film maker, and has directed, produced and scripted a diverse range of short films, education videos and documentaries. Amongst these are a 5 x 1 hour documentary series on dolphins, marine life and human impact. The main subject of her Dolphin series, Rick O’Barry, trained the Flipper dolphins for the popular TV series “FLIPPER’, and won the Oscar for Best Documentary Film for ‘THE COVE’ at the 2010 Oscars.

Her latest venture is a documentary on the Spirit of the Martial Arts with world class artists, world champions, Masters and international Martial Arts celebrities. See Spirit 2 Power

She has also produced and co- scripted a short film on Relief Advertising called ‘Mantra for the New Millennium’, along with the (late) award winning director Michael Portelly. (Best remembered for his award winning film ‘Oceans Daughter’, and highly acclaimed Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society TV advertisement – of a boy diving for a pearl). ‘Mantra for the New Millenium’ was shown in the presence of ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair at The Festival of Light in 2000 at Alexander Palace. The film was subsequently also shown at the UN Peace Summit the following year in the presence of Kofi Anan, and at International ‘Ocean related’ festivals.

Gulrukh is also a fully qualified Wholistic Practioner, dealing with Mind, Body and Spirit. She has extensively studied Energetic Balancing along with other Wholistic modalities including: Clinical Aromatherapy with Acupressure Massage and Advanced Theta Healing. See www.allowmiracles.com

She comes from a long line of Complimentary Medical Practitioners, including her Paternal Grandfather Sir Maqsood Jung, who was the Unani Practitioner to The Nizam of Hyderabad and the ‘then’ – President of India. Unani, or Yunani, is a traditional Graeco-Asian medical treatment practiced widely in South-East Asia, and based on the teachings of Greek Physician Hippocrates, and Roman physician Galen.

Her late Uncle Idries Shah was renowned for his books on Sufism, and was best remembered for introducing Sufism to Western Academia.

Stefanie Voigt

Stefanie Voigt is a professional documentary producer, director, camera woman underwater and on land, underwater stunt talent as well as on-camera host since more than 20 years.

Being under a strong ‘aquatic influence’ all her life, Stefanie specializes in almost every aspect of underwater and marine related productions around the world. “I have developed my passion into my mission.”

Stefanie was one of the first women to work professionally in the field of underwater media. As PADI Scuba Instructor, underwater stunt/talent & model, documentary producer/director, host and underwater camera, security and technical diver (Rebreather, Nitrox), UW-Archaeology, journalist and stunt- woman (Charlie’s Angels), Stefanie has gained her multifaceted experience through a diversity of fields and projects. “In order to be a good producer, director, camera operator or actor I believe one should gain insight of various stages”.

Following her passion, Stefanie gained further experience through working in various media fields such as: Commercials, Film Seminars (16mm, Super 16mm & 35mm), director, DOP and actress. Stefanie also produced an exclusive 50min. extreme Sports Documentary: “SHADED BLUE” (“-128 Meters, Freediving World Champion Pipin is the deepest man on earth”)

With hosting an underwater adventure series “Blue Paradise” for VOX TV in Germany and shooting “Blue Velvet in Sinai” as underwater DOP in Egypt, the list of experiences continues.

Working with renowned underwater cinematographers like Pete Romano and underwater photographers like Stephen Frink and Barry Kulick, Stefanie also assisted during the HDTV production “On a Single Breath – The Extreme Sport of Freediving” with Tanya Streeter as host which was produced by ASL Productions Inc. and 24fps Productions Inc.

Stefanie also filmed several making-of productions with celebrities like Christie Brinkley, MTV/360 Mafia, an underwater live feed during Mariah Carey MTV Music Awards and sequences for Discovery & Animal Planet.

Stefanie also played a part as actress and filmed the underwater sequence for the short film “Self” for the Miami Incubator Competition which won the 1st place. Being an on-camera underwater talent and 2nd DOP for “Underwater video Basics”, producing “underwater music videos” and filming various projects around the world, Stefanie aka ‘aquawoman’ continues to add credits to her multifaceted resume.

In 08/2008 Stefanie also coordinated the entire underwater production in Miami for a 35mm commercial for Iceland, Finland and Scandinavia. Furthermore, Stefanie supervised this production as marine coordinator and was one of the security divers.
